Jordan Kimball

As a Bay Area native and an avid sports fan, I often consider myself lucky. I grew up surrounded by championships, star players and sports history. I bonded with peers over the Giants, Warriors and 49ers and shaped relationships through our shared knowledge.

Sports became my form of connection.

At Syracuse University, my passion for athletics has become my chosen profession. With The Daily Orange, I’ve covered seven sports, writing in-depth features on athletes and coaches and exploring the stories that unfold behind the scenes.

Beyond Syracuse, I’ve interned with the Golden State Valkyries, one of the WNBA’s newest franchises, and the Sonoma Stompers, a collegiate summer league baseball team in Northern California. These experiences have helped me connect with readers, identify the stories that matter and learn how to deliver them.

I’m excited for what the future holds!
